Kristin Neidlinger is a designer and inventor who is a leader in the field of wearable technology. As the founder of Sensoree, she creates futuristic clothes that allow a person to show their emotions to the outside world, a concept she calls “extimacy.” With a background in dance therapy and the performing arts, Kristin explores the connection between our feelings and our physical expression. Her innovative technology uses smart fabrics and sensitive electronics to express the wearer’s mood with light, color, and even touch. The goal of her work is to create new ways for people to communicate and to help those with conditions like Sensory Processing Disorder and autism better understand and manage their feelings. Kristin’s groundbreaking designs have been presented globally at fashion shows, museums, and technology conferences. She is a true visionary, creating a new kind of technology that is focused on connecting us more deeply to ourselves and to others.
