Sarah Outen is a remarkable adventurer, author, and speaker known for her incredible journeys across the globe. She gained international fame for her “London2London: Via the World” expedition, a five-year, human-powered journey that began in 2011. During her 25,000-mile trip, Sarah cycled and kayaked her way across continents and oceans, showing incredible grit and determination. She cycled across Europe, Asia, and North America, and rowed across both the North Pacific and most of the North Atlantic oceans. Her journey was not just about the physical challenge; she also connected with classrooms around the world, using her adventure to inspire and educate students. Sarah has written two books, Dare to Do and A Dip in the Ocean, which detail her record-breaking expeditions. Her achievements have earned her numerous honors, including multiple Guinness World Records and the title of British Adventurer of the Year. She was also appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to rowing, which is a major award in the UK.
