Dr. Jones is an internationally recognized expert in digital health, behavioral science, mental health promotion and prevention. She is a clinical psychologist and has developed evidence-based online and mobile prevention programs for a wide range of mental health problems. Dr. Jones is Vice President of Research & Programs at Lantern, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Associate Co-Director of the Laboratory for the Study of Behavioral Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, Director of the Healthy Body Image Program, and Visiting Scientist at the Medical University Wien. Dr. Jones has published and presented her research in leading scientific journals and conferences. Dr. Jones has been appointed to leadership positions within several international scientific and advocacy organizations, including: Academy for Eating Disorders, National Eating Disorders Association, and EU COST Action Appearance Matters. She has received awards from National Institute of Mental Health, the United States House of Representatives, Stanford University, and Phi Beta Kappa, among others, for her academic and advocacy work. Dr. Jones earned her BA in Psychology with Distinction, Cum Laude, and Provost’s Honors from the University of California San Diego; received her MS and PsyD from PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium; and completed psychology fellowships at Yale University and Stanford University School of Medicine.
