Geraldine Hamilton

Geraldine A. Hamilton is the President and Chief Scientific Officer of Emulate. Prior to joining Emulate’s founding team, she served as Lead Senior Staff Scientist with the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, where she led the Organs-on-Chips program. Geraldine spent more than 11 years in the pharmaceutical industry managing drug discovery teams, which helped advance the development and application of human-relevant in vitro models for drug discovery. Geraldine was a founding scientist and VP of Scientific Operations for CellzDirect. She received her PhD from the University of Hertfordshire, England, in conjunction with GlaxoSmithKline, followed by a fellowship at the University of North Carolina.
