Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Jones is a celebrated photographer and documentary filmmaker known for her powerful work that highlights social issues. She is the founder of the 100 People Foundation, an organization that uses visual storytelling to promote human connection and understanding. For over a decade, Carolyn has traveled the world, creating projects that focus on personal stories and their ability to connect us. Her acclaimed book, Living Proof: Courage in the Face of AIDS, was published alongside shows in major cities and at the United Nations. Her work has a special focus on the stories of nurses and healthcare professionals. She directed the documentary film, The American Nurse, which was shown in theaters worldwide. Her more recent films include Defining HOPE, which looks at the important role nurses play in end-of-life care, and In Case of Emergency, a documentary about America’s emergency nurses. Through her compassionate and proactive lens, Carolyn uses her art to bring attention to issues of global concern and to honor those who care for others.
