Tim Brown is the CEO and president of IDEO, a design and innovation company with offices worldwide. He advises senior executives and boards of Fortune 100 companies and has led strategic client relationships with such organizations as the Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, Pepsi, Procter & Gamble, and Steelcase. He is a member of the Mayo Innovation Advisory Council and writes extensively, in publications such as the Harvard Business Review, on his blog Design Thinking, and through an upcoming book about how design thinking transforms organizations. The book, Change By Design, will be released by HarperBusiness in September 2009. Tim has participated in the World Economic Forum at Davos since 2006, and his talk ‘Serious Play’ can be seen on TED.com.
