Sujey Morgan

In a Nutshell

Sujey combines medical science with artistic creativity to create artificial replacements for facial features lost due to cancer or injury, helping patients regain both function and a sense of identity.

Dr. Sujey Morgan is a highly skilled maxillofacial prosthodontist, a dental specialist who creates artificial replacements for parts of the face and jaw. Originally from Colombia, she earned her dental degree there before moving to the United States to continue her education. Sujey’s work is not just about medicine; it’s also about art. While studying dentistry, she also took art welding classes, which taught her the patience and meticulous detail required to sculpt and create. This artistic background proved invaluable during her fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she learned to rebuild facial features for patients who had lost them due to cancer, accidents, or birth defects. She is dedicated to helping people regain both function and confidence. By creating new noses, ears, and other facial parts, Sujey helps her patients with important daily tasks like eating and speaking. But just as importantly, she helps them feel whole again, restoring a sense of identity. She currently shares her expertise by teaching at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she also directs the maxillofacial prosthodontics clinic. Her work continues to change lives by combining medical science with artistic creativity.
