Peter Ueda

Peter is a physician and researcher in public health with a particular interest in the growing burden of non-communicable global diseases. He received his MD and PhD from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, and his research – based in Nigeria, India, Sweden, and Japan – has been multiply awarded and received coverage in international media such as the New York Times. Peter also holds a business degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and has experience from management consulting at McKinsey & Co. With his background in research, medicine and market analysis, he frequently consults for healthcare startups in Sweden and internationally. Peter has a strong interest in floorball – a version of indoor hockey – and has represented Japan in two World Championships.
