Meghan Coakley leads the NIH 3D Print Exchange. Through her outreach efforts with the NIH 3D Print Exchange, she has participated in a number of Maker Faires, STEM-related outreach events, and popular science conventions. As an active member of the Web3D Consortium, she is working toward improved data standards to better support new and emerging uses for 3D printing. Meghan also contributes to initiatives from the HHS Idea Lab, Creative Commons, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. She is an advisor to the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Meghan holds a Masters in Biotechnology and a PhD in Biochemistry from University College Cork, Ireland.
