Hannah Bayer

A life-long New Yorker and decision scientist, Hannah Bayer is the Chief Scientist at the Kavli HUMAN Project. Hannah leads a multi-disciplinary team of public health, social science and technology experts who are designing and building the future of social, behavioral and medical scientists. She completed her doctoral work at New York University in the Center for Neural Science, specializing in systems neuroscience. She followed that with post-doctoral research in combining economic, psychological and neuro-scientific approaches to understand how people make risky decisions, and then spent time as an editor at the journal, Nature Neuroscience.
