About Kevin Tracey

Neurosurgeon Kevin Tracey is a pioneer in the field of bioelectronic medicine, a convergence of molecular medicine, bioengineering, and neuroscience. His unusual career path has produced a series of innovative discoveries, spawning clinical trials, startup companies, and numerous accolades. Kevin’s work explores how specific nerves modulate the immune system, and he has successfully used tiny nerve stimulators to treat inflammatory diseases. Kevin is author of Fatal Sequence: The Killer Within, about the physiologic failures of sepsis. He is also the CEO and President of the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research.
