About Siddarth Satish

Siddarth Satish is the Chief Executive Officer of Gauss Surgical. He founded the company in 2011 and served as CTO and Chairman of the Board until 2015. In his operating roles, he has led the company from invention through six US/EU regulatory approvals (including FDA De Novo), and into its commercial phase of growth. Siddarth previously served as an EIR at StartX, Stanford’s Startup Accelerator, and as a SIMdesign Fellow at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.S. in Bioengineering from the UC Berkeley/UCSF Joint Graduate Group in Bioengineering, and he is a named inventor on over 25 issued or pending patents.
