About This Idea

Cake offers the easiest way to do advance care and end-of-life planning. Their mobile-friendly platform guides you through the planning process and makes it easy to share your plans with loved ones. Everyone will eventually die, yet only 1 in 4 people plan for itCake helps you by breaking up end-of-life planning into simple, bite-size chunks called “Cake Cards.” By empowering users to make meaningful progress in a short amount of time, they have lowered the barrier to engaging with this topic. Cake also facilitates communication about end-of-life wishes, something many of us want to do but find difficult, awkward, and even emotional. They are more than just a destination for end-of-life planning—they are a place for honoring your life, and the lives of the ones you love.
