Robert Stern, MA is the founder and CEO of @Point of Care, a point-of-care decision-making mobile platform for HCP’s that also connects patients’ with their HCP’s via a companion patient app to monitor patient progress between office visits. Stern is also the founder and CEO of Projects In Knowledge, an ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education, and founder and CEO of MedPage Today, an award-winning website that provides original reporting of breaking medical news, acquired by Everyday Health in 2010, and serves on the advisory board. Previously, Stern was the president of CMEinfo.com, a producer of board review and medical update courses for physicians; co-founder of Fingertip Formulary, a website that provides formulary drug status for health plans; and editor of Genome, the first anthology devoted to exploring how the human genome was mapped. In 2009, Stern was named one of the 100 most inspiring and influential people in life sciences by PharmaVOICE.com. Stern received a BFA from the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and a master’s degree in education with an interest in medical communications from New York University.
