@ The Merriam Theater, University of The Arts®. Philadelphia, PA

The Merriam Theater

The University has completely restored its historic Merriam Theater. This theater serves as the University's major performance hall for students in the College of Performing Arts. Both fall and spring semesters conclude with a number of performances staged by the College of Performing Arts' Dance, Music, and Theater departments. Located at 250 South Broad Street, the Merriam is also "home" to a number of regional performing arts organizations, including the Pennsylvania Ballet.

The theater is a perfect home for TEDMED3, raked, intimate, and conveniently located in a beautiful city. We are looking forward to presenting the conference here.

A long list of comments about TEDMED3
Thank you for a wonderful event.

Peter Bennett - Helios Clinic

Great to meet you. Great event and very good for Philly.

Richard Bendis - President & CEO Innovation Philadelphia, Inc.

Edie and I just want you to know that TEDMED3 was a triumph - even if you don't count the part where you and I danced on stage...everyone who came was impressed with how brilliant the whole event was. We learned a ton, and I was reminded that, no matter how good I felt about my rookie outing at D, you forget more each day about the art of great conferences than I learn in a year. TEDMED has even spurred me personally to want to know more about my own health...You are still the absolute master.

Walt Mossberg - Personal Technology Columnist The Wall Street Journal

I want to take this opportunity to personally thank you for the TEDMED3 conference. It was a distinct pleasure to attend...As a semi-retired pharmaceutical executive, I appreciate the tremendous value and opportunities you create in your conferences. Keep up the excellent work.

James Fry - Managing Principal Infosystems Management

TEDMED3 was my first RSW conference. Let me say that I found the experience truly enlightening and uplifting. I came away intellectually charged and profoundly changed. Thank you again...

Michael Behar - Science Editor National Geographic Magazine

I know there will be many who tell you (and have already told you) how good, exciting, humorous, and simply 'good fun' your conference this week in Philly was. I want to join the applause. Of course it was that for me too. (And the food wasn't bad either!) You orchestrated something quite remarkable. For me personally, though, it was a chance to see some new connections (how exciting and humbling that is) and to meet and hear some extraordinary people. Thank you for letting me join in the crowd.

Neil Kleinman - Dean of the College of Media and Communication University of the Arts

Hey, I really enjoyed the TEDMED conference in Philadelphia (my first). I think the wonderful mix of topics is the best ingredient to a fascinating conference.

Greg Baird - Senior Vice President Communications Novartis

Many thanks for a fascinating TEDMED3. Lots of intriguing ideas will make their way into stories! Thanks again.

Richard Sergay - Senior Producer, Internet and Technology Unit ABC News

You were masterful, the speakers that I heard were excellent ...Thank you, thank you for including me.

Alan Hassenfeld - Hasbro Inc.

Great conference. Thanks.

Peter Frishauf - PFKC Ltd. Corp

Hats off to you for organizing such an amazing conference! I can't even begin to express how much I enjoyed it. Thank you again for the wonderful TEDMED experience!

Wendy Angst

Richard: I know how much you loved your other conferences, but gotta tell you, TEDMED was even better. It was riveting, intimate, exciting, more even and I'm so glad I came and so grateful for you having me...Bravo!

Joni Evans - Senior VP William Morris Agency

Dear Richard, Thank you for your kind letter and congratulations for the excellent comments made by some of the attendees and participants to TEDMED3. They are a wonderful cross-section of the comments I heard in the hallways, at the exits of sessions and in conversations around the event. When I try to describe what TEDMED3 was - or any of the other conferences - I am always at a loss for exact terminology. It is not a conference, nor a seminar, symposium, event, happening, performance, meeting, nor a series of lectures. Although it is certainly a combination of all of these and more, it has added dimensions that are part of the mix and create the multiplier effect, the catalysis, the Heisenberg principle that makes each and all of your productions such an extraordinary array of intellectual pursuit, knowledge, emotions, awe, delight, pleasure and astonishment. Along the lines of the word "ecology", invented for a new concept, I believe someone will have to come up with a new word to describe what you do in these conferences. When you gave us the privilege of housing your celebration of creative power at the University, you allowed me to glimpse, ever so rapidly, into the astonishing process of part of the creation of this superb moment. As you know I have attended all your Monterey conferences save the first one, so I have seen a whole array of presentations and lived though multiple experiences. I must confess that being able to see, albeit so slightly, the creative process in which you are engaged and engage others for your conference was an extraordinary joy for me. I have always admired the capacity to create. Whatever the object of creation is. This was a very special occasion because at the end, it isn't what you have created that is important, it is what everyone takes away. I think that is the clue to your wizardry. You do not create only for the moment, or for the immediate impact. You create for what is left. A French philosopher, Edouard Herriot, I think, said something like "culture is what is lacking when you have learned it all; it is what remains when you have forgotten it all." Somehow, your conferences, our conferences, remain, after many years, in the minds of those who have attended, and it is what is lacking in the spirit of those who have never come. I guess your conferences are as much cult as culture. That, in any society, and by any measure, is an enviable achievement. Whether you decide to continue with TEDMED or not, I know that I speak on behalf of many, but particularly of myself and of the UArts community that was closely involved with you, when I say thank you for the exceptional privilege and opportunity you provided us to be tiny part of your magnificent dream.

Miguel Angel Corzo - The University of the Arts

Just a short note to send a very big thank you to you for giving me the enormous gift of the TEDMED experience. It sounds trite to say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. But I did. The many new insights and realm of possibilities not only opened my mind but continued to churn inside like so many colored ribbons swirling...I felt nourished not only by the intellectual treats but by the generous evening activities. There is something about abundance around food and drink that helps create an overall spirit of generosity...the experience reinforced my own mission on earth in terms of how passionately I believe in it. We have to simultaneously push frontiers of what is possible in health as well as extend that which we have already to the billions in need of it. And in that lies a world of fascinating possibility. So thank you again, Richard, for letting me is a part of your world. It was a rare and wonderful gift.

Jacqueline Novogratz - CEO Acumen Fund

Richard, you have a special kind of genius for finding, arranging and 'curating' fascinating learning experiences. There's something else even more amazing about what you do, though - you create, with these events, a sense of 'tribe' among the participants. This is not an easy thing to do and I can't think of many settings where this happens in the powerful way that it happens at your events. We all feel so connected after a few days together. Thanks, yet again, for a brilliant conference.

Linda Stone

Once again, congratulations...for organizing the best healthcare forum I've ever been to.

Satjiv Chahil - Advisor to the Chairman Palm, Inc.

Bravo! TEDMED was the best. Ain't nothing like the real thing...baby. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

David Gallo - Director of Special Projects Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution

Many many thanks for providing all of us with such a wonderful conference. Someone said there was a constant flow of 'brain candy.' I learned a great deal and it certainly helped in visualizing the future of the Newport Hospital...Thanks for all your work. Tremendous preparation was much in evidence.

Jim Purviance - Investment Advisor Barrett and Co.

Just a quick note to thank you for your generous spirit and all the effort you put into TEDMED. It was a great conference with some wonderful highlights, superbly run as always, and great people. Thank you for including me and for bringing the important topic of health care into the limelight it deserves.

Ryan Phelan - co-founder All Species Foundation

You certainly know how to put on a conference. TEDMED3 was fantastic but exhausting...Thank you for letting me attend. It is so stimulating to hear about all that medicine can do for us, to keep us from getting ill. Wish the doctors and insurance companies would see the light about preventative medicine, but with you plugging away on that theme there is hope. The entertainment, the breakouts, the dinners were also stimulating to say nothing of the attendees. We need more of this in our lives. Again thanks.

Dorrance Hamilton - Owner 218 Enterprises

Richard, it was a thrilling few days. I feel like I was present at the creation of something new and life-changing, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to attend and share it with my readers. Please keep me posted on upcoming events.

Jimmy Guterman - President Vineyard Group

Thanks for the delightful, inspiring week in Philly. My father and I had a wonderful time together that we'll both treasure for a long time. David Rose - CEO Ambient Devices I wanted to tell you what a wonderful meeting you have organized and also how much respect I have of you as a person. If there is a jewel, it is you...But this conference was fantastic and covers a real need. I can see it taking off real soon. I hope that you will continue these meetings and it is my honour and pleasure to be part of this.

Josef Penninger - MBA, University of Toronto

I enjoyed the conference very much, it exceeded my expectations! The contributions were impeccable, the quality of thinking stunning! I owe you so much for setting these events up, honestly! Philadelphia was lovely...Keep on organizing these wonderful conferences: They are inspiring, educational, entertaining and a wonderful experience of life.

Ranier von Mielecki - Head Internal Communications International Syngenta International AG

As a TEDMED Virgin I have to express sincere gratitude for the TEDMED3 conference - nearly everyone I met had been to a number of your conferences before and I understand why. For me, the conference gave me room to think horizontally. All year long I am focused on my niche, going to conferences, preparing presentations, and just everyday workflow is all very very vertical. Sure I read and am exposed to the world - but having a concentrated few days to interact with my peers in a broad way allowed my brain to spin off in new directions. I left feeling invigorated. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Andrew Behar - Chief Operating Officer VivoMetrics

I found this conference incredible useful. I work for a pharmaceutical company and my mission is to help make medical information accessible to patients in such a way that they are compelled - in the best sense of the word - to use it...The conference was also brain food for me because I think the tired old ways of conveying information are just that: tired and, therefore, useless...

Jean Ashburn - Sr. ePromotions Manager AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals

Overall, the conference was stimulating, engaging, well run, well paced. Evening activities were as well.

Seth Banks - Manager, Global Design GE Medical Systems

I enjoyed TEDMED3 immensely and am grateful for the invitation. I would fly-in specially again in a heartbeat.

John LaPuma - Executive Editor, Alternative Medicine Alert CHEF Clinic

I would like to start with great thanks for a wonderful event. It exceeded all expectations - I was simply blown away by a great content.

Inna Kuznetsova - Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications IBM

I can honestly say that it was the most interesting and provocative conference I have attended in my life...I have been telling friends about it in glowing terms - Richard is amazing - I barely slept at night, the ideas were so exciting. By Saturday, I was worn out, but it was well worth it. I can't wait to go to TEDMED4...

Janet Carlson - President One Eleven Interactive

I was only there for a day but I really liked what I heard. Thought (Dean Kamen) from First/Segway Scooters was amazing. What I heard was thought provoking and I really enjoyed it. Thanks.

Kym White - Ogilvy PR

On the whole I thought it was well organized, well run and had a nice mix of speakers...One the whole, it was 3.5 days very well spent and I would be happy to help out again at a future TEDMED.

Astro Teller - CEO BodyMedia

First of all, thank you. As in your past conferences, the content was inspiring and provocative. The best speakers are still those who broaden out to other topics--the Richard Rockefellers and David Bodanis and Naomi Judds...I truly hope you do TEDMED again. I'll be there, if you do. So will others from my company...

Lisa Maulhardt - Writer Stone Yamashita

I was so overwhelmed by what I heard and the relationships I am bringing from the conference that I have not gotten it all sorted, but I will, and will most assuredly write about it soon. I'm so happy to have been part of TM3! More, more, more...

David Bolinsky - Partner XVIVO

Thank you for including me. It was great to see you in action again. You run a hell of a conference...

Bob Perkins - Consensus Research

TEDMED3 was terrific and I encourage you to go ahead with TEDMED4. The themes that were covered (especially the gap / lag between science and medicine) are vital to our future, and were addressed with humor and depth, and the community that developed around the conference might actually getting some things done that need to be done. Wonderful to have the emotional connection that you bring to it all. So please keep up the good work...In any event, TEDMED3 was a great experience and the waves from it are still very much flowing. Well done.

Paul Kennedy - President and CEO VivoMetrics, Inc.

I enjoyed it. Thanks for having me.

Arthur Caplan - Director Center for Bioethics

I thought TEDMED was fantastic, and pray that Richard does it again...

Jill Sobule

The TEDMED conference was the most mind-stretching, mind-boggling, entertaining, exciting, challenging, awesome gathering of creative minds I've ever attended. I, for one, implore our chairman to continue it in some form or another.

Mary Alice Smith - Chief Philanthropy Officer Newport Hospital Foundation

It was an honor to have the opportunity to work with your team and the event. Again, thank you for the opportunity!

Laura Treimann - Allsteel

I felt like someone had tickled my brain. You and the fabulous speakers opened new windows my mind and new ideas, insights, connections floated in like a warm breeze. I actually felt a release of endorphins from so much brain stimulation. My only regret was that I only came one day. Richard, I hope we can all find a way to keep this incredible event alive and build participation...

Nancy Walker - VP, Global Pharmaceutical Communication Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Services

Great conference, I hope you all had a chance to recover. Please let Richard know that if there is something I can do to help, just ask.

Rick Satava - Professor of Surgery University Of Washington Medical Center

I enjoyed the meeting thoroughly and feel that is has immense value in inspiring innovators. I would think such a program would be very much useful to my nation (Singapore) which has a focused strategy of growing through innovation in biomedical sciences but is struggling to create the right environment to do so...

Alok Mishra - VP, Marketing & Business Development, Johnson & Johnson Medical Asia Pacific

I attended TEDMED3 with Rick Satava from DARPA and found the meeting terrific...The opportunities to network, stimulate, be stimulated, and even plan neat future stuff cannot be overvalued...I look forward to a TEDMED4!

Michael Marohn - Professor of Surgery Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences

It was the best medical/scientific conference I have been to in my entire professional life. Nothing has even come close to matching it. Exciting, inspiring, intellectually challenging and wonderfully thought provoking. Also humbling which isn't a bad thing for an M.D. Richard is an impresario/entrepreneur/scientist/artist. I can't begin to imagine anyone else who could have pulled this five star conference off. At least no one I've ever met....who is still alive...please convey my thanks to him and everyone who helped make TEDMED3 so great.

John Herring - CEO JAH Consulting

TEDMED was everything you promised (and that was a lot, by the way). In all sincerity, thank you for giving my arm that extra little twist it needed!! I truly hope you'll make TEDMED an annual event -- it was fascinating, exciting, provocative -- and I left wanting more!...

Andy Sieg - Managing Director Merrill Lynch

Congratulations on yet another outstanding conference. Thanks again for inviting me.

Mark Hurst - Founder and President Creative Good

TEDMED3 was just as terrific as I thought it would be. It was my first RSW conference experience and I regret every one I didn't get to...The speakers were wonderful and I liked the pace at which things were kept moving along. I was aware of your being on deck all day and all night and it really showed in the effect that had...Despite the fact that I am not a doctor, nor employed by a pharmaceutical firm or an allied business, I enjoyed the variety of subjects and the way they were presented. I was never bored or anxious for the day to end in face of the very rich menu of subjects covered. As a non-professional it was a challenge to keep up with some of the technical matters but I never felt totally at a loss and learned a lot...Over all I rate the conference a smashing success and your own performance as world class...With great admiration and warm thanks.

Nicole Teweles

The conference was the best tonic for my brain I've ever had, and if you were to do it again, I could surely convince others to come with me. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Janice Wolman - Savings Investment Corporation

I found TEDMED3 generally wonderful, stimulating, and actually useful. It seems to me that it is an unusually valuable 'institution.' That's because medicine is changing so fast, and under so much stress, that there is an almost desperate need for perspective; TEDMED brings enough different views that everyone must learn a lot. So I do hope that it can be made to continue...

Marvin Minsky - Toshiba Professor of Media Arts & Sciences The MIT Media Lab

Enthralling. Inspiring. Exciting. My every last brain cell was invigorated by your conference. You have a rare ability to sense where important ideas are germinating, and to create an incubator for helping them hatch. I wouldn't consider missing one of these events!

Lana Rigsby - Owner Rigsby Design

It was a thrill for me...to witness the growing pains of a new landmark conference. I can understand RSW's frustration...So, the first message I'd like to get across to all of you is: DON'T STOP NOW!!!!! MORE TEDMED!!!!

Thayne Muller - Wide Horizon Design

Great conference! Congratulations...

H. Randolph Swearer - Dean Parsons School of Design

I just wanted to say thanks so much for the well run event. I love it when things start, and end on time - allowing us to plan our days accordingly. I found the event fantastic, plan to attend TEDMED4 (I hope it happens!)...I found the forum a fabulous way to relax, learn, and recharge.

James Thome - Consumer Business Operations WebMD

TEDMED3 was a life-altering experience for me. I'm not a scientist, MD or any other type of genius such as you had presenting and attending. I'm just a hospital business mgr. But, TEDMED jump-started my understanding of current technical trends and my imagination resulting in a keen desire to translate how I can use what was learned to benefit our patients - how can they use the internet to empower themselves? How can we educate medical staff to do same? Those of us who attended feel an incredible surge of energy and are 'conspiring' to make use of those terrific four days...Thanks, loved the pace, the entertainment, the choice of presenters and the magnificent chaos of the entire event!

Pat Wallace - Program Director Thomas Jefferson University Hospital

With the TEDMED3, you created an incredible community, and built momentum that is important to capture for T TEDMED4. The effort you invested over the last year will be easily leveraged for TEDMED4. The buzz about TEDMED3 is huge, and many people who did not make it this year will be there next year...

Pam Alexander - CEO Alexander Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide

Where do I begin? It was fabulous!!! The best conference I have ever attended...But -- & this is key -- one has to be there to get it. Thanks, again -- it was great!

Pat Molino - Vice President, Group Issues & Communications Management Johnson & Johnson

The conference was a terrific experience. I was struck by the attention to detail that created such a wonderful balance between the science and the expression or communication of that science. I also appreciated the air of informality despite the very high level of the speakers...I very much hope I will have another opportunity to attend a TEDMED and in any case, I will be thinking about this past conference for a long time to come.

Patricia L. Ward - Exhibit Developer Museum of Science and Industry

I thought the conference was exceptional. No weak presenters, only some better than others. At a point I was on intellectual overload, a spot I haven't been in some time...Congratulations on an outstanding conference.

Howard Redgate - Chief of Staff Academy Studios

This is just a short note to say thank you...I found the conference to be exceptionally stimulating. The diverse presentations, more personal presentation styles, and ample time for discussion and networking all contributed to the type of learning which is, unfortunately, quite rare in professional conference events. I am glad I was able to attend a small piece of TEDMED3 and would be very interested in participating in TEDMED4 when you organize it...Thanks again for putting on an excellent conference. Cheers!

Chris Elias - PATH

The smaller size of TEDMED had definite appeal, making it possible to talk to people in a relaxed fashion without feeling you were missing out on talking to eighty other people in the same very tight time-frame...For my money, Joseph Penninger and Carey Mullis gave two of the best talks. Also Richard Rockefeller. And Naomi Judd was completely - wonderfully - out of the box...I know you can't manufacture a Dean Kamen/George Bush moment every year, but you don't need to. Those moments are a natural artifact of Richard's genius and will continue to happen as long as he chooses to produce these conferences. All of us who attend hope that will be forever...Thanks again.

Emily Levine - Comedienne

I encourage you to continue the event because I believe it will gain traction. It's like a TV show that has yet to find its audience, there's nothing wrong with the show, it just needs time to allow views to catch up and catch on...

Ron Cappello - CEO Infinia Group, LLC

It was an amazing event! Thanks to *you*!

Irene Pepperberg - Research Scientist

This was the first TEDMED conference that I have attended. I came based on the rave reviews of my friends, Stevie Giacalone and Pheobe Milligan. I was not disappointed - the sessions were riveting, and I learned so much...I am also convinced that the collaborative atmosphere TEDMED provides for brilliant people to cooperate across disciplines is one of the things that will hasten medical breakthroughs in the future. It can also make a real difference to communities like Newport. I understand that Newport Hospital is now considering the purchase of full body scan software! Wouldn't have happened without TEDMED...

Leslie Hogan - VP, Marketing Hogan & Stone

Merle and I enjoyed TEDMED no end. Your ability to whip three days of valuable information with the fun and energy of a hoe down in uncanny. We particularly like your shabby chich role as confrere. If you discontinue future TEDMEDs as suggested, I'll shoot you.

Max L. Raab - Producer/Director Max L. Raab Productions, Inc.

I felt quite euphoric after that Saturday morning. I had no proper idea how extraordinary the meeting would be, how extraordinary you were...There is really nothing anywhere like these TEDMED Conferences - they seem packed with amazing, unexpected people, talking about everything under the sun...

Oliver Sacks, M.D. - Professor Neurology & Author

I LOVED the conference! It was amazing: the speakers were amazing; the thoughts that flowed and the ideas that blossomed were spectacular; the people were first class...Thanks again...talk to you soon!!

Nancy Lewin - Executive Director, The Campaign for Nursing's Future Johnson & Johnson

TEDMED3, my first Wurman conference ever, was the most stimulating conference I have ever been to. [And I go to a lot of conferences] Maybe it was just my imagination, but I felt a unique energy, brainpower and courage! Plus, I was very REALLY impressed that many of the high level people actually stayed around...

Carola G. Schropp - Principal EBD Group, Inc.

I thoroughly enjoyed the conference and wish I was able to stay for its entirety...Thanks again for inviting me to speak at your TEDMED conference.

Robert W. Mah - NASA Ames Research Center

Thanks for the casual attire The high presence of staff and volunteers kept people informed, cared for and well-behaved, all of which are important. It does not get better than Kary Mullis or Sherwin Nuland. Nuland's warning that all of this progress might just be vanity and narrow-minded personal preservation was sobering and necessary. The search for the fountain of youth is an endeavor of nefarious history and dubious prospect...

Ed Milano - Design Continuum

I really enjoyed speaking at TEDMED3. I know that the purpose of the conference was to stimulate new ideas and connect people who can work together creatively, and I just wanted to let you know that, for me, the conference accomplished exactly that. I am still thinking about it quite a bit and still communicating very actively with many of the participants. I am sure many others who attended are now undergoing the same experience. The true success of TEDMED3 is measured by the stimulation it gives toward future innovations. You are to be congratulated for organizing such a valuable event.

Ken Kamler

I was a musician who performed during the TEDMED3 conference. Although I am in no way a part of the scientific or medical community I must admit that I was fascinated by many of the ideas presented and also the literature available at the conference (i.e. Discover Magazine). I had the chance to speak with some very interesting people in attendance. From my limited viewpoint the conference was very well arranged and has certainly affected my thinking in many ways. Thank you for the opportunity to perform at this event, and I look forward to future opportunities with Mr. Wurman's organization.

Ryan Dankanich - The Lars Halle Orchestra

Let me express my sincere appreciation for the opportunity to experience TEDMED. What to say? I left informed, inspired, amazed, moved. Kudos for fully comprehending what even influentials in the medical professions are just beginning to recognize--In an aging America, health and medicine is the new frontier. The vain aesthetics, sustained quality and extended length of our mortal lives will be the primary obsessions driving not only the future of business and technology, but of cultural and societal change. I was mentioning to Sherwin Nuland that I thought TEDMED was perfectly positioned to capture the public's imagination and poised for takeoff were it to become an annual affair. Concerned that you may be losing heart, Sherwin asked me to forward my thoughts along. So, for what it's worth... Do not be surprised or discouraged that your vision isn't yet clear or compelling to more people. As it goes with pioneers, your blazed trails and bold pushes forward will be under appreciated until the masses suddenly and collectively sniff their doom...

Steven Finch - Business 2.0

The conference was great - I would attend again and recommend it to others...but I preferred having a smaller, more select audience where you could get to know more people and had better access to the speakers...

Borys Chabursky - Strategic Health Innovations

We were thrilled with TEDMED3. Yes, it was smaller, in a more intimate setting, but the magic and stimulation was there in full force. You are the man.

Steve Hayden - Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide

I reluctantly attended TEDMED because my years at the Monterey conference were s incredible that I didn't want a second-best experience. So my happiness at finding that TEDMED was every bit as good (and, really, better because of my keen interest in health) made it an energizing, joyous week for me. Thank you for having the energy to extend these wonderful conferences.

Hope Dlugozima - WebMD

I was quite moved on various levels by TEDMED, and pleased by some unexpected bits of attention I received after I spoke. The one comment I encountered that made my involvement most worthwhile had nothing to do with my work. On the tail end of the conference I was approached by a woman whose name I regret I do not remember. She said that she is an OB/Gyn doctor, and she was particularly taken by my comment from my med school days, about the seven exposures to any concept that a student of medicine needs to have before integrating that concept into her armamentarium; plus the care our professor, Dr. Weil, took to let us know that patients need at least that level of exposure to a concept before 'knowing what they have heard'- especially if the news is bad. This woman had never encountered that bit of wisdom. She admitted to me that she had been carrying around some anger at her patients for not listening to her, despite her care in explaining things. My comment, she said, was freeing, a revelation, and would compel her to change how she practiced medicine, and how she would henceforth, relate what she needed to relate, to her patients!...Thank you for the privilege.
