Sara Holoubek is the CEO and founder of Luminary Labs, a consultancy focused on operationalizing innovation. Her firm has helped numerous companies achieve relevancy and business outcome by applying new and agile approaches to people, process, and technology. Ms. Holoubek is also an active adviser and investor. She currently serves on the Pioneer Advisory Group for the Robert Wood Johnson Pioneer Fund, and is a formal adviser to private sector companies WMI, Clickable, Hoseanna, and Achievemint. Previously, Ms. Holoubek served as iCrossing's Chief Strategy Officer, building the firm's New York office and repositioning the iCrossing brand as it raised an early VC round of $13 million. Prior to this experience, Ms. Holoubek held strategy roles with interactive agencies Organic and Blue Dingo. From 2009-2010, Ms. Holoubek served as the President of SEMPO, the global trade marketing organization for the search marketing industry. She currently serves on the New York Board of Directors of the, Step Up Women's Network. In 2011, she was the recipient of the Pepsico WINaward for her contributions to the tech community, including the development of A Field Guide To, a list of high-profile female founders, deal-makers and influencers. Ms. Holoubek has been widely quoted in publications such as The Washington Post, WSJ.com, Adweek, Internet Retailer, Strategies (France) and PropMark (Brazil). She also serves as a frequent guest lecturer on the subjects of technology and innovation. Ms. Holoubek also brings an international perspective to her work, having lived and worked in Latin America and Europe; she is fluent in Spanish and French, and conversant in Portuguese. She holds a B.A. from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. from HEC in France. She resides in New York City with her husband, bass-baritone Claudio Mascarenhas.
